Age
78, of Elsie died Thursday, Oct. 10, 1991, at Clinton
Memorial Hospital, St. Johns. Services will be held Saturday,
Oct. 12, 1 p.m. from the Smith Funeral Home, Elsie. Rev. Lyle
Calkins, Rev. Robert Daughenbaugh, and Dr. Richard Cole will officiate
with the burial at Saranac Cemetery, Saranac, Mich.
Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today with the family present from 2 to
5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Courser was born in Fairview, Mich. on Oct 31, 1912, to Jacob and
Matilda (Miller) Clemans. She graduate from Saranac High
School. She and Elmer Courser were married on June 17, 1933, in
Ionia Mich. He died June 3, 1982.
Mrs. Courser had resided in Elsie for the past 20 years as a homemaker
and was a member of Racy Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter and spouse, Vickie and Ed Phillips, of
Atlanta, Ga., son and spouse, Roger and Carol Courser of Bath, a
daughter-in-law and husband Julie and Charles Peters of St. Johns, son
and spouse Vance and Sally Courser, of Charlotte; many granchildren;
one great-grandchild and one brother, Alvin Clemans of Wyoming, Mich.
Mrs. Courser
was predeceased by two children, one grandchild, and six
brothers.
Memorials are
suggested to the Racy Free Methodist Church Building Fund.

Elsie.
